The large centerpiece in French is called "Oeil-de-boeuf" which roughly translates to ox-eye window or the eye of the bull, a term applied to a relatively small oval window.  The pod came from Tortola where it grows in to a vine and the seed pod can have up to 7 seeds. The macrame holds hand cut beeds of recycled glass from Senegal.  After returning from an art fair in Tortola, BVI, Marine was inspired to try macrame as a way of connecting the nature of the Caribbean islands.
